I've begrudgingly come to terms with the fact that I will not be decorating my living room with Jonathan Adler's Helix Rug anytime in the near future. If I can't add some of Jonathan's funk to my floor, at least I can afford to add it to my iPhone.

I know lots of people love this kind of thing, but I'll be just thrilled when the cutie-petutie-let's but-bright-pattern-on-your-grilled-cheese-sandwich-too trend dies a sudden death.
I do like color, especially if it makes finding the phone a little bit easier in a bag, but these just look like birthday presents, as in the throw-away wrapping paper for a 5 year old.
Personally, I think Adler is a bit of a sellout & a design thief- remarketing other famous designs and calling/branding them his own. Too many new consumers are too oblivious to know the difference. I realize this happens, but the Adler brand is pretty shameless.

If you save your money instead of wasting it, you can get the rug sooner.
Anything that makes ugly utilitarian phones look brighter and more fun is a thumbs up in my book. :)

I'm like totally wearing my Adler-designed Mood Ring right now! I had it set on DOLLS earlier but I just rotated it over to UPPERS/crazypants. LOVE is fun, especially in the morning, but you don't want to see me on HATE, non.
I had to consult My Prescription for Anti-Depressive Living to see how Adler treats HATE. Basically, he only references it with a graphic Greek Key Pattern Border which is like way too similar to a repeating swastika motif. I got that when I was on the DOLLS....but on page 248...
Adler is like a genius squirrel. A design jesus. Maybe you're on to something with case of many colors thing.
