- What I Love About My Small Home:
- I love that our home is so cozy and in a wonderful old building. It is the first apartment for my husband and I together, but I think it is really good looking for a young couple. Also the apartment reflects our personality and our passion for Scandinavian interior design.
- Biggest Challenge of Living in a Small Space
- The biggest challenge is to incorporate the living area in the kitchen and to style erverything on a budget. Cause we are both teachers we need lots of space for our school stuff und decided to use our second bedroom as a office not as living room. It is tough to design a kitchen that is cozy and functional at the same time. I tried to use bright colors and lots of drapery and pillows.

I really like your place and I'm uber jealous that you live in Germany! I think the tree branch for hanging clothes is a very ingenious idea! But I have to concur with LYONSTILL, I'm not getting the whole feel for the place with your pics. First pic may just be a bad angle, but it looks like the sofa and chair are colliding. Oh, but that darling kitchen makes me happy all day long!
Love the color combo of grey, white, black, and green but yes, I agree, can't really get a handle on the space by the photos.
Love the green stripe and half moon lampshade- great touches!
I love your name! <3
love your bed!!!
Cosy!
your living and bedroom has cozy written all over it but your kitchen is a little disappointing.
Please put the dirty brush under the sink not over it and I know you can find badass soap dispensers in Germany. I am not sure if its the photo but the green wall seems to have poor paint job. Colors are confused here with black counter green wall, white cupboards.
knife/spoon rack seems to be ancient not in a good way. I don't like tile splash backs with massive grooves that collect grease on its grouts but thats just me and I wonder why don't they make seamless tiles.
@MADHU106
Are you seriously faulting Josefine for not having invented grout-free tile? There is such a thing btw - if you have the money, you can use quartz instead of tile. It is seamless, gorgeous, and comes in tons of colors. Just google "Quartz Countertops".
Personally, I think the apartment is very cute. I like the contrast of the green-white-black. Would have like a picture of the office though.
I've noticed a particular user's comments seem to have a trend of nitpicking on little things (like telling people where they should keep their scrub brushes, or the user's personal dislike of lucite and the color pink). Not terribly constructive overall.
I love this. its fresh and cosy and really who gives a hoot about where the scrub brush is. I personally like
the tiles and really how can anyone see a bad paint job on the green stripe, unless they have a magnifying glass. Its the love in a home that is paramount, not the scrub brush position. Love this.
Where did you get your duvet cover from?
