As a professional event planner, Amy Atlas knows a thing or two about throwing a great shindig. When the time came to plan her own little boy's birthday bash, this was definitely not a "shoemaker's children" scenario. His current infatuation with airplanes inspired Amy to throw a fittingly named "Ready for Takeoff" party.

We love how Amy totally took off with this theme, from the runway right down the middle of the table to the airplane cake suspended (that's right, SUSPENDED) above. The cupcakes and cookie takeaways are adorable. And the goody bags designed to look like airsickness bags made us chuckle.
