Yesterday I wrote about what I thought was the best iPad stand I've seen so far. Well then I came across what seems to be the mecca of iPad stands and the Griffin A-Frame iPad Stand is now sitting pretty in second place in my book.

The Joule is super sleek, modern and sophisticated &mdash pretty tough to pull off when you're just an iPad stand. We're pretty impressed and sort of wish we had an iPad already so we could purchase this.
Joule is made from a solid aluminum brick and comes with some awesome bells and whistles. The stand comes in a shiny finish or a black anodized coating. Custom coatings and laser engraved graphics are available if you ask!
There are rubber pads on the bottom to ensure that no surface get scratched when the stand is in use. The recess is also lined in velvet so the iPad itself doesn't get scratched when placed on the stand and to also hold it securely in place. There's a magnetic tilt foot on the back that allows for endless adjusting depending on what you're using it for.
The Joule isn't cheap, of course. However, we're thinking that it is pretty sweet and would last quite a while. It's currently available for $129.

It's gorgeous! I love it! Unfortunately, I am still choking on the cost of the iPad 3G that I ordered (and, of course, STILL haven't received). I just can't bear to pile a $130 stand on top of that.
I have no Tech newer than my PowerBook G4, but I do know design, and that is one beautiful design!
I read with interest all the upcoming uses for the iPad (and accessories) and I plan to purchase one soon. I can see more positives coming from Unpluggrs, than negatives. Nice.
