What I Love About My Small Home:
The sense of creative freedom it triggers. My apartment is my creative playground. It is filled with my own art pieces, like the wallpaper made of photocopies of birds, insects, and planes, or the illustrated 2D bird on the wall that sits on a real 3D branch.
Biggest Challenge of Living in a Small Space:
When I first moved in the place felt smaller than what it really was; the floors were brown, the walls beige. It felt darker. This sensation changed when I painted everything white. White helped to blur the angles and corners of the space and dissolved the separation between floors and walls. The result was all the surfaces reflected the light better, and the rooms felt more spacious.
