June is gardening month here at AT:SF, but it almost seems a little silly (in a city like ours) to confine this theme to one month. That's because many in the Bay are year-round gardeners, and the city has a level of year-round green beauty that's so intrinsic to its hilly beauty.
But we're already digging into the urban garden and have starting culling great resources. Check back later today for the San Francisco Epiphyllum Society, which is far sexier than it sounds. And send us your gardening tips, tricks, and favorite resources.
We want to know it all: where you get your magic pruning shears. The perfect poppies to plant in the foggier parts of the city. How you deal with your house plants when you're on vacation. Etcetera.
In other AT news, we're still looking for great, creative homes (or even just rooms) and gardens to tour, so if you or someone you know has renovated or redecorated a place into its much better-looking after state and want to share the fruits of the labor send us pics.
Last, we have a question for you. We're trying to decide if AT:SF is ready for a launch party. We think it might stlll be a little early and we want to make sure there are folks out there who will attend. Let us know through the poll below.
