Junzo Terada Flashcards: Animal Fun from A to Z

Chronicle Books knows a good thing when they see one. You may remember me gushing about Junzo Terada's cardboard animal figures a few years ago. I was quite smitten with his cheerfully simple, vintage-inspired animal characters - Richard Scarry meets M. Sasek. Not having seen any terrific abc flashcard sets in awhile, imagine my delight that Chronicle collaborated with him again on this playful set.

The cards themselves are thick and sturdy and will hold up to plenty of handling by your kids. Each illustration is utterly delightful and my favorite changes constantly. My son and I like to spread them on the living room floor and I ask him to bring me different animals or letters.

If you can't find Animal Fun from A to Z locally, purchase through Chronicle Books or many online stores.
