Most of us have jumped on the BPA-free, no waste, reusable stainless steel water bottle band wagon. But, many of you may be wary of your tap water and don't always have access to filtered water. Well, EcoUsable has a solution, the Ech2o – a stainless steel water bottle with a built-in filter in the cap.
According to EcoUsable, an “Ionic-Adsorption Micro-Filtration System” is built-in to the sports cap top. The Ech2o top removes up to 99.99% of pollutants for up to 50 gallons of filtered water - find out more details here.
We think this is a great concept, but 50 gallons isn’t really that much. The company should offer replacement filters/sports caps, which we didn’t see available on their website. The bottles are available in 25oz food grade stainless steel in several colors; each bottle is $44.99.

if the filter can't be replaced, this is just a sturdier form of waste. even needing to replace the entire cap is terribly disappointing.
Maybe going thirsty is the only answer. Or just find a drinking fountain? Are people really that worried about dehydration in the middle of metropolitan areas?
"many of you still be weary"? How about you try that one again, this time with the word "wary"?
Seriously, y'all need proofreaders in the worst way.
If you're going to nitpick about grammar, spelling and mistakes, you might as well go the whole nine yards and tell them that "But many of you still be wary of your tap water and don't always have access to filtered water." is a sentence fragment and should have an 'are' instead of a 'be'.
lol.
You know...I'm weary of people who are afraid of tap water. Most of the time, it's cleaner than bottled water or bottled water is tap water.
