A hip tête à tête. The Veuve Clicquot Loveseat by Karim Rashid is formed of two pink egg-shaped seats facing one another. True to Rashid, they're made of plastic.
That bright orange pedestal is in the middle of the loveseat to hold a bottle of champagne by Veuve Clicquot, who has teamed with designers to create accompaniments to their champagne.
The seat sells for, get this, $10,000 at the Conran Shop.

I love it!
If only that bright orange pedestal could keep the bottle of Veuve cold! (Not that they last very long...but still.) Then it would be genuis.
10,000 for something that reminds me of The Love Toilet (SNL faux commercial with Victoria Jackson and Kevin Nealon) ... it better keep the champagne chilled! ;-)
Ignoring the price for a moment, I love this for a kid's room.
I think it looks like the windy knob on an old fashioned wind-up toy :)
Very sexy looking.
I will be fine in a large marble entrybuilding for a fashion company in NYC or Paris. Other than that it is a bit boring and cold for a more personal space.
I meant to say: It will be fine (this seat)
Oh dear mercy, why pink? If it came in green, I'd scatter a few around my garden (near the money trees I grow each year).
it looks like a bra
It's very Karim. Organic, pink, blobby and fugly.

Aside from what I think about the design itself. . .I saw this in the bar of Hotel Vitale in San Francisco. An otherwise dark toned, sophisticated bar, this looked so out of place in color and style. I hope it was a temporary placement.
