We're late to the game on this — but we're still a little fascinated! Uber-celebrity designer Karl Lagerfeld purchased a traditional brick home in Grand Isle, Vermont this past October. The home was used for a Chanel photo shoot and the pictures made it onto New York Magazine's fashion blog, The Cut...

The video is a must see for Karl fans!

What is Karl Lagerfeld going to do in vermont??? Hop on over to the country store?
Pretty house though.
SO five minutes ago. But what a lovely house.
I work right near here! It's on one of the islands in Lake Champlain, but the house is right on the road... not very private. And there is nothing in Grand Isle... except for the beverage mart, not even a country store... also home of the smellest dairy farm I've ever had the pleasure to wiff.
I know that people adore him, but I don't get it. He just seems totally insane. But he does make some beautiful art.
