The January Cure is officially over, and I have to say it was a really nice way to the start the new year. January is usually a quiet, sometimes lonely month for me, and this year I found it to be productive, rewarding, and surprisingly social: I learned new skills (I am looking at you bathroom caulk!), I spent more quality time in my kitchen (yay for better lighting!), and I had fun sharing and swapping cure updates with friends and all of you. Good stuff.

Day 19: Catch Up & Take a Photo.
My goal project this month was to recaulk my bathtub, and I completed it during Week 3. That said, I have been hankering for some greenery in the bathroom, but with no natural light, live plants were not an option. This past week I placed some eucalyptus I bought during Week 1 into an old glass milk bottle, and wow, it smells amazing after a steamy shower.
Day 20: Hang Your Artwork.
Apparently Week 3 was a busy one for me because I hung my newly framed photo of my mama that week as well. I am still enjoying it.
Day 21: Speedy Spruce Up & Surface Clean.
Cleaning is definitely more enjoyable when you have been keeping up with it. It also helps when Fleetwood Mac is playing in the background.
Day 22 & 23: Shop for Get Together Goodies and Pat Yourself on the Back, Relax & Celebrate!
Inspired by a post I found on The Sweetest Occasion, I decided on a Sunny Winter Cocktail, a cheese board, and Mexican Chocolate Pudding for my ladies' night. Yum.

Whoop whoop, we are all done! Any plans on how you are going to keep with the January Cure momentum moving forward?

I love the way you have hung your artwork and 3D items, very cool and personal. Also, I want some of that chocolate stuff!
Nice work, and good idea about the eucalyptus.
where is the shower curtain from?
Re the eucalyptus + shower steam: Wondrous aroma which lasts & lasts. I've kept eucalyptus in our hall bath for a few years & don't think I've ever had a guest who failed to inquire about the source.
Your artwork speaks to me. Makes me want to sit & enjoy a cuppa with you as I listen to the story behind each peace. Priceless..
I plan to steal your eucalyptus idea. I have also been meaning to put some green in my bathroom for a while, and I love the smell of that plant.
had no idea eucalyptus lasted that long. like everything except the fleetwood mac
I created a "February cure" to keep up the momentum created in the January Cure and to tackle the long list of projects I created on in the January cure. I'm using my blog to stay accountable to my tasks.

Thanks everyone! I definitely recommend trying some eucalyptus in the bathroom.

Fleetwood Mac is my favorite cleaning and feeling like a lady kinda music too.
