Her guest room is equally--if not more--bright as the master bedroom. We're loving the layering of patterns between the spring green bedspread and deep pink sunburst pillow (both part of Ireland's new line) with the handmade bolster pillow made from an antique suzani.
One thing that we found very interesting about Ireland's latest collection was her thoughtfulness on color choices. While her new fabrics introduce brilliant colors, she intentionally chose hues that would look wonderful mellowed out by time. As she puts it, "It's how I like it.... Let it get aged. Wash things, hang them on the line, and let the sun do its work. I was appalled when I first moved from England to L.A., and here we are in this sunny climate and everyone has clothes dryers.."
