- What I Love About My Small Home:
- As part of a heritage building, it has the most eccentric charm: a bathroom built over the bed, creaky wooden floors and beautiful architectural details. Also my glorious amassment of local artworks and antique books which have been gifted and collected over the years.
- Biggest Challenge of Living in a Small Space
- Although the place is tiny, size hasn't been an issue so much as layout. Because it's a converted hotel room, the bed rolls out of the wall right into the center of the main space, limiting furniture placement. I've adapted by building up the high vertical space with wall-mounted units. It has also caused me to be selective about function -- for now I focus on making it conducive to my studies as an undergraduate.
