- Inspiration for my palette:
- I wanted something that brightened up the space but at different times of day would give a different feel. In some light it has a green undertone and others it comes off very yellow.
- Colors used in my room
- Behr - Ground Ginger
- Tips for using color successfully
- The color on the paint chip will normally come out 1-2 shades darker once dried on the wall. So look at the chip in the shadow of your hand... that's more the true color!

Room for Color
The room does, in fact, look incredibly cozy! Great job on mixing patterns and textures.
Too much heavy looking furniture. FP wall looks nice.
Love Ground Ginger! I've used it in two houses now. Spent a lot of time trying to find the right yellow, and this not-yellow color was it.
Weird! Was this house recently for sale? I am pretty sure it was one of the ones we saw on our house hunt? I specifically remember the arrangement over the mantle, but I also know that a lot of older houses in the area have the same layout, so maybe it's just strikingly similar...
Beautiful room!
