We're not sure how much the little cardboard tissue box does to keep tissues germ and dust free, but we do know it's not usually pretty. While this idea might not be for everyone, we thought it was neat enough, especially during hay fever season when we go through a box like nothing.
Made of heavy chromium-plated brass, kazan means volcano in Japanese, a reference to how the tissue looks like a plume of smoke emanating from an active caldera.
$69, here.

Isn't this just a rip off of Vessel's Toro tissue ring that was first out in 2003 or so?

Pretty, and easy to do at home with any old round sort of heavy thing with a hole in the middle - Like a big bronze nut I've got hanging around.
That looks like a plumbing flange you can get at Ferguson's for 10 bucks.
Stupid waste of money. It's expensive AND the tissues get all dusty and heaven forbid if they get knocked off the table...
Seems pretty pointless.
I am freaking SICK of design sites touting these COMPLETELY IDIOTIC tissue rings. They expose your tissues to dust, pet hair and ALLERGENS. Who the heck wants this? Plus, it's idiotic to spend money on it besides all that since you could use any round object.
Design People: STOP FEATURING THIS STUPID PRODUCT IN ALL IT'S FORMS.
And people wonder why many don't take design seriously.
