Keep An Eye Out For: Bargello Pillows

This past weekend, we flew home to surprise the mom for Mother's Day--but we came home with a present of our own! A Bargello pillow that our great-grandmother made is not only sentimental, it's actually just our style.

After a quick Wikipedia search, we learned that Bargello pillows are extremely durable because of the technique used to create them (which explains why our family still has one from our great-grandmother). They are also typically done in bright colors. The name Bargello comes from the Bargello Pallace inspired by the homes "flame stitched" designed chairs. The handful of vintage pillows we spotted on Etsy were affordable to boot with almost all of them hovering around $20.
