Inspired by Ingrid's stack of vintage sewing boxes (above), we set out to uncover the wide world of vintage sewing containers. It appears that they come in all shapes and sizes and we've got a handful to show off as examples.
Of course my favorite part about vintage sewing containers is the fact that they can store and organize smaller items. I'd probably use one in the living room for remote control hiding or in the office to stow mementos or pictures. The portability and ease of transferring any one of these from room to room is also appealing — just keep an eye out during your next flea market excursion.
