We've seen more than a few apartments with the poster "Keep Calm and Carry On," a re-issue of the British poster, circa 1939, that advised citizens to do just that while bombs and war raged on around them. (One turned up in one of Maxwell's latest e-mails). Recently we came across an updated version of the same poster...
In the same way that The Sex Pistol's Sid Vicious singing "God Save the Queen" rethinks the British national anthem, "Keep Calm and Rock On," brings a sly smile to the original version's stiff upper lip. Available through the Poster List for $10.99, they're inexpensive enough that you can get two or more for your space (they come in aqua, pink, yellow and gray) or pick another of their great posters (you can get 2 posters for $20). It's an inexpensive way to add some irreverent and graphic art to your space without breaking the bank.

why does AT keep pushing this and the "keep calm" poster?
people, please, they've only covered this in california so far - still need it posted on the NY and CHI boards.
Keep calm.
All this talking about 'keeping calm' is making me nervous
I'm sick of this poster, no matter what it says.
And thanks for explaining the Sex Pistols for me--I've always wondered about that. I thought maybe they were really, really patriotic.
100% awful!
this should have been in HOT or NOT.
NOT!!!
I'm so in love with this brilliant phrase and the clever, stunning graphics that I sure hope AT keeps posting something about it perhaps once a week or so.
Don't the bloggers in other cities read the other cities' blogs???
It's been said...
why??!! Again?? SoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooBORING!!
potluck -- i think the majority of AT readers read the ENTIRE site, not just their city's feed. the fact that this freaking poster hasn't been covered by every. single. regional AT team doesn't mean that we need to see them over and over and over again.
