Oooh, I wish you'd had this post a month ago when I was looking for file boxes. Er, with one significant change - you should've left off the SnapNGo. I bought two, and if you look in the photo you'll see that the files actually hang on the edge of the box, which means the lid doesn't really close on it. The lid is actually super oversized and sort of just perches on top of everything. Which not only looks silly, but makes them impossible to stack.

Might be a good cheap option for someone who plans to keep boxes open, but otherwise I'd stand clear.

Ikea has an option that looks similar to the SnapNStore called Kassett. They come in a two back and require you to fold 11.5"x8" sheets in half but I use mine to organize things that come in the mail in envelopes or postcards. If you're not terribly concerned about your documents lying flat and like the look I recommend them.

These are great options. Thanks so much. I found several items on seejanework.com which will help me get my paperwork and non-display items in order, but yikes, I can't get over the name of the site. I know it's meant to be tongue in cheek, but . . . Damn you.

I need a plain (no thick corners, etc. container to put legal size folders and letter size to store out of sight. Had some nice baskets from a big box store...but no longer available. I don't want to buy nests, I need one size, i.e. 15x8x9 tall...or...any ideas? I'm on a budget and prefer natural material or plain plastic, metal, etc. Thanks. Need Cheap ones! C.H.
