Have you started to receive holiday cards in the mail yet? It's always fun to see everyone's family photos, but what do you do with them after the season is over? Pack them up and put them in the attic? Toss them? Check out this idea that will have you enjoying them year round.
There is so much love (not to mention expense) that goes into family holiday cards. They might be serious or ironic, but either way there's no point in only seeing them one time a year. Instead, Ashley Ann over at Under The Sycamore had a rather ingenious idea for keeping the holiday spirit going. She's started snapping photos of her holiday cards and using them as the contact photo for her friends on her smart phone. It's a great way to see those photos year round (assuming they're good enough friends to call once in a while).

Shaw's Original Fir...
such a good idea, love it!
Great idea, never thought about that!
This is a great idea! Except that most people just send pics of their kids!!
I hate that. I would much rather have a pic of the whole family, than just the kids.
Those that send me pics of just their kids are going to get pics of my 4 cats! :)
btw... this post is a great idea.
People still do the holiday card thing? I thought that Facebook had pretty much eliminated the need.
I love this idea! I will have a whole new perspective when receiving Christmas cards and photos this season.
Wow, what a great idea. Yay internets!
