While filling out our census this week, we kept hoping that there would be a place to input our dog's name and information. Didn't find it. Nonetheless, she's more like a person and less like a pet—which is exactly why we can't wait to get our hands on this dog-friendly water bottle: no plastic (and no mess) involved.
Instead of a tray, like we've seen on many plastic traveling pet water bottles, this bottle uses a mechanism we're used to seeing in conjunction with a much smaller pet.
This is one of those dog products that sounds so very smart. When we're out hiking or at the park with our pup, we bring a wide-mouth Nalgene along just for her. She loves it, but half of the water is spilled on the ground (which is not only wasteful, but also messy!). That's why this concept sounds like a good fit for pet-centric families like ours.
These BPA-free stainless steel bottles from Good Life Gear fit in standard cup holders (and in side pockets on backpacks). They're durable, recyclable, and—here's the kicker—easy for your dog to use. Think of it as a large version of a hamster cage bottle, with a stainless steel ball at the end that your pet can lick for refreshment.
