Hallmark holiday aside, receiving those special cards on Valentine's Day from family and loved ones is always sweet and it's nice to display them. Keep it simple, like ATLA reader jek a box, who showcases cards on a simple ribbon.
If you are looking for a very simple way to display these thoughtful cards (or any cards or photos), a ribbon and clothespins do the trick.
How do you display cards?
Do you place them on the fridge or create a place for them for a little while?

Everyone she/he knows sends the same vintage cards? I think displaying your Valentines is adorable when you're a little kid. But clotheslines full of cute aren't my style.
It is a shame all Valentine's cards don't have the aesthetic appeal of the vintage-era greetings. Clothesline of cute are certainly my style, so I guess I balance out Palmetto's negative sentiment.
Don't get me wrong--the vintage ones are delightful, but I'd frame them, rather than stick them up on clothespins. But the contemporary ones aren't going to be nearly as nice--what if you get the porn-y ones?
Haha, I need to know some of your friends if they're sending porn-y ones. Framing is a great idea though, agreed.
I love the vintage ones. Several years ago I was at my grandparents' house around Valentine's Day. There were two Valentines on display, both of which looked to be circa 1960s. My grandma said that they had saved these for years and each year gave them to each other (all over again) on Valentine's Day. I thought it was sort of funny and excessively thrifty. My grandma said why should we buy new ones every year when these are so nice? She was right.
