I recently had the "big security talk" with my family about why every password shouldn't be the dog's name in all lowercase. One complaint was long, random character passwords are difficult to remember. While my mom prefers keeping her passwords in a paper notebook, my grandfather was curious about ways to keep his passwords safe on his tablet. This app roundup is for him...

No mention of LastPass. It has plugins for Firefox, Safari, Chrome, runs on Mac, Windows, Linux, and has apps for Android, iOS, BlackBerry, Symbian, and even WebOS. It's free for browser-only use; mobile apps require LastPass Premium at $12/yr. It supports various forms of 2-factor authentication, including Google Authenticator, YubiKey, and thumb drives, and has a portable mode as well.
Can't agree more with Red Five. LastPass is great. I use it across my work PC, home Mac, iPad and iPhone. It is worth the small amount of money per year for the premium.
I third Last Pass. It's a truly great program. Currently I just use the free version, but plan to upgrade for the mobile functioning.
lastpass is great. I too use the premium version across all my tech and love it.
it's reasonably priced at $1.00/month and does what it promises without any issues.
I tried a more expensive app before switching to lastpass. great decision.
