With all of the access to information that iPhones and Blackberrys give you, it always seems that the Web pages and applications that are the most hyped (we're talkin' to you, skateboarding dog on YouTube) are the ones that are just a novelty, not exactly something you need access to away from your home computer. The Google Price Check was one of the useful ones, but now we've got another... one that I wish I knew about recently when I was in the market for a used car and was making trips to see a few by-owner sales.
The popular Web site that rates and provides information on motor vehicles is now optimized for iPhone's display (both the original and the iPhone 3G, plus the iPod Touch) at //iphone.kbb.com/. The site looks and feels very much like an independent application that you buy from Apple's Apps Store.
While this probably isn't a site you'd use more often than a short few days only once in your phone's life, but it certainly is a really useful tool when you're out in the suburbs checking out a used Buick and wondering if it's really worth what they're asking.
