Nomade Express Slee...
I love this kitchen and it is very much my style. I'm afraid the lighting makes the wall color appear muted but if it appears as the green in your palette, it must be just lovely.
Love this kitchen and this color!! Can you also tell me about the shelves? I'm looking to do something similar and haven't found anything like these. Thanks!
Is it a boathouse...or why the sign? Anyway, I love the colors and the industrial- workshop look. Why the metal cabinets mixed with wood?
I absolutely love this!
I enjoy the industrial elements in this kitchen. Is that a dog butt disappearing in the the hallway in the first pic? lol.
taylor... it's a tricky color that looks very different throughout the day due to lighting.
judy... we made the shelving with pine planks cut to fit wall to wall. we stained them with two coats of cabot polystain in dark oak and had them hung with ikea black painted brackets. andrew filled in the screw holes with black caulk for a more finished look.
rural... at the end of our street is the saint john's river which leads into the atlantic ocean. also, those are commerical summit refrigeration units, not cabinetry. i could see why you would think that, though!
lynell... that is absolutely an english bulldog rear. i am both mortified and impressed by your identification.
Mortified?? Why? dog butts are cute and supposed to be exposed. Now if that were your hubby's butt it would be reason for mortification! LOL
Thanks Kelly. I didn't mean the color comment to be insulting. Some pale cool colors are tricky like that. You have my vote!
Since this is a "color" contest..I would like to know which green is truly representative of the kitchen.. The color that I see in your photos does look muted but seems to fit much better with your palette and the industrial look than the swatch color.
The kitchen itself is gorgeous..And huge! Lucky you to have such a great space to work with and in..
I love the open shelving and the fridge. The subway backsplash tile looks great with the paint choices.
Love the colors, the industrial look, and the feeling of the room. My favorite so far!!!
YAY JACKSONVILLE!!! Way to represent!
rural... i should also mention that the sign was made from salvaged wood from the original kitchen built in 1929.
kathie... it was actually quite a tiny, challenging, and awkward space! i had to work with what i had!
kristen... are we not having the best weather finally?! i want to be outside all. day. long.
Oh, gosh...how could I have missed the bulldog bottom? It's the dog lover's version of air freshener ("Revolutionary New TC Microburst 3000 Economy automatic air freshener dispenser sprays every 15 minutes, 24/7. No programming required...").
From one dog person to another.
Hehe. The dog butt cracked me up. :) Love that it was included.
Great place too!.
ROFL at the dog butt comments.
Cool kitchen!
great job!
Martha Stewart Mourning Dove may be my new favorite neutral EVER. Beautiful room!
Like the green color and white. Like the large artwork; soda gushing from a bottle? Is that a mini garbage can in first pic? Noticed the dog butt right away; had to decide if it was a wood carving or real butt.
Gorgeous kitchen!
I never thought I would like that shade of green but you've made a convert of me. It must be wonderful to live in it as it changes throughout the day and in different weather. Love what you've done.
LOVE IT!
Hey..... where's the stove top?? Am I missing something?
ladyfish... the stovetop is perpendicular to the sink on the left.
100% impressed. Thank you for sharing!
The question of mourning dove, is it like in the photos, or is it like the swatch shown, really points out the fact that it's next to impossible to convey what a color really looks like. It's hard enough just in photos to show true color, but then the fact that computer monitors skew the "truth" even more... what're ya gonna do.
But anyway, the way your photos show on MY monitor, it's absolutely gorgeous!
I got curious and googled that color... this page (below) shows four photos of what's supposedly that paint color, and every one is TOTALLY different from the others (AND from yours!) LOL

Beautiful kitchen! I LOVE that this is in Jacksonville! I live in Jax too and am always excited to see interesting spaces here!
Its so cold!! A little pop of color like a red, or pink, yellow or even purple in the form of a flower would have been nice.
Very well done, but I could never get away with so few cabinets! The green wall works well with the whites and browns in the painting.
firewife... thank you. also the cabinets... they're not ginormous, but to be fair there are some additional ones and a pantry on the other side (the original door was to the left of the sink, but was flipped to have access to the dining room).
I love that kitchen island. where is that from?? and the stools? it's cold but I do like it... very inspiring!
I absolutely adore everything about this space. Wow!
Definitely my favorite! I don't find it cold at all; in fact the cool tones seem calming and inviting. This kitchen to me has the perfect balance of a clean streamlined appearance with a lived in feeling.
thanks, everyone.
london... the stools came from an old print shop. the island is ikea.
rmbnn... the painting is my husband lying down with his feet propped up. the metal storage bin holds the dogs' food.
Pinned! I absolutely love your style, and the colours are nicely matched to suit the architecture/design, too.
Like this!
Hi Kelly, I really like all the industrial elements, very well put together. I'd love to see the rest of your home!! Do you have a blog?
Can I come to cook in your kitchen? Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Love the cabinets, the backsplash, and the table!
So lovely.
thanks for the supportive feedback, everyone.

This is just the kind of look and color I was looking for in my apartment in a Victorian building. The owner of the building looked up what the buildings looked like when it was first built and has added period detail and colors to the outside, so I wanted to subtly connect my color scheme. Thank you for posting. Best wishes for a win!
