- What I Love About My Small Home:
- The location—I’m within walking distance of a really great coffee shop, the library, hike & bike trails, where I get my hair cut, and my favorite thrift stores. In Houston, this is almost unheard of. I also love the light--there are windows in every room. I love the size of the kitchen and the big butcher block table, gifted from a good friend. Many of the pieces of furniture and artwork that populate my apartment are either found, thrifted or gifted, which makes them particularly special to me.

Get to know your local thrift or consignment stores and don’t be afraid to switch things up every once in a while!
