We always think of bamboo as a material with a natural, rustic look when used in architecture. But not in the case of Kengo Kuma's Great (Bamboo) Wall House:
The house, located in Beijing, uses a natural bamboo screen to extremely precise ends. The result is a streamlined space defined by the shadow and light of bamboo slats.
