We ALWAYS lose our keys (and yes, we have a landing strip!) Maybe this keybag will be the solution to our problems!
Created for a design competition, the keybag is not yet available for purchase. Designer Nenad Katic is looking to get the design produced and in-stores. Since he's obviously very driven, (see the last photo!) we're sure that will happen! Any thoughts for Nenad? Which keyholder material is your favorite?

This is a handsome item---which I'd never use after the novelty of owning it wore off (48 hours?).
I solved the key problem for myself by drilling a small hole in the wall right beside my door and gluing into it, flush with the wall, one of those super magnets. I then painted over it with the wall paint, so there's absolutely no visual clutter. The satisfying clink of the keys attaching to the magnet has trained my nervous system to always put my keys there when I come in. And! There's absolutely no additional clutter at all!
I would probably only use the leather...I think the other materials would take too much of a beating with all of my keys
They just look like they'd be constantly interfering with the operation of the doorknobs -- especially the doorknobs pictured here. The second one looks like it would slip off whenever the door was opened. Back to the drawing board?
How to not lose your keys: pick a spot, any spot. Put your keys there. Every time.
I always lose everything else, but I always know where my keys are.
interesting idea. It would work for me for random keys, however my normal house and car keys have a good spot. In my pocket, ALWAYS in my pocket. If they are somewhere else, they are in the wrong spot.
Often while leaving the apartment I go downstairs and get the car (2 sets of keys, one house, and one car is a great thing) and she uses my keys to lockup. However when she gets in the car she'll stick them in the cubby hole by the shifter. Like I said, if not in my pocket they are in the wrong spot. So we arrive back home, go upstairs, and I don't have my keys.. kind of hard to open the door when they are left in a random spot in the car... She is luckily starting to remember to give them back to me. I never notice them in the car because if it was me, as soon as they do their job, back in the pocket they go.
My keys are on a big locking carabiner from EMS, that I clip to my purse strap when they aren't in use. Usually, I arrange them to hang inside the purse, so they won't jingle. It's a little geeky but I never, ever, ever lose my keys.
