Kickstart Your Home With These Kickstarter Projects

I often find myself browsing Kickstarter for projects to support way more often than a lady with a budget should. But it’s just so fun to see what up-and-coming makers and creators are working on, and I often find their work a source of quick inspiration too...

Lately I’ve expanded my searches from local community and fun media projects to products that I think will brighten up my little apartment. These are a few of my favorite current innovative home accessories that you can support right now:

  1. Chai Dice, an adorable set of dice and spices to inspire you to try new teas! Perfect for diving into the chilly fall and winter months with something to look forward to in your kitchen.
  2. For playing at the beach or in the backyard, for adults or kids, Sandblox are a great way to make some stunning sand castles.. or towers, or mansions, or whatever you can think of. There's still a bit of summer left for backyard sandbox fun!
  3. Android users, take heed: Pressy is designed to make it quick and easy to perform your favorite common actions on your phone. It's a tiny, simple device that hangs out on a keychain and lets you lock your phone, turn on your flashlight, or a number of other programmable options anytime.
  4. The Butler Home Organizer works with just about every phone out there to charge your phone, tell you the time, and keep all your vitals in one place. Never lose your keys, wallet, or glasses again? I'm in. The simplicity and beauty in the Butler's design means it will fit in anywhere you need it in your home.
  5. Another great anywhere-you-need-it tool to keep you organized: the Camerino Valet Stand. It's sleek and gorgeous to be sure. I'd love to fit this into a tiny bathroom to create more storage space, or keep it near my closet to lay out clothes for the next day.
