Q: I'm looking for kid-friendly wall lighting for a bunk room - specifically reading lights for the inside of each bunk that are compact enough to work in those tight spaces, bright enough for reading and timeless enough that they can grow with the kids as time goes by. I was near to buying the Tolomeo Spot Light - compact enough for the inside of a bunk, great design, and not as pricey as other models - until an architect friend warned me that they get hot, the shade edge of the Tolomeos can be sharp, and are generally not all that kid-friendly. Any suggestions for wall-mounted alternatives that are kid-friendly? Thanks so much!

Editor: I was in West Elm over the weekend and noticed a few adjustable wall lights you might check out. Here's a link to a few. Readers, what other suggestions do you have?
