A place to read.Sure, you could let the kids sit on this and watch TV, but a librarian friend once clued us in to the fact that a great way to encourage reading in children is to make a place for them to read. Bright red, and child-sized, this chair is big enough for two children to enjoy a book together, small enough to let a kid read alone, and stylish enough to satisfy Mum and Dad. Everybody wins!
We liked the rubber stoppers on the front of the legs, to keep the chair from tipping over. A birch frame and sturdy fabric make this a pretty decent piece of furniture, and at 31.5" x 19" x 25.5" is the perfect size for very young readers. Just $89.99 at Bed, Bath, and Beyond.

This looks so much like, yet is so much smaller, than the hypothetical two-seater Ikea POÄNG chair that I only wished existed.
hja, that is exactly what I was thinking.
I bought a chair just like this for my son, but a one seater, a couple years ago at a Rite Aid in NYC. My son loves it - I wish I would have bought a couple of them. It was 19.99 I think.
These would be great for setting up a little basement home theater. Or you could carry them outside on a summer night to show a movie outdoors!
Wow, if that looks as good in person as it does from the photo it's a fantastic deal. The lines are beautiful.
happy easter!
Oh, I like...
Happy Easter to you too! (:
