Pirate Goods for Eye-Patch Wearing Kids

My daughter needed glasses at the ripe old age of 16 months. Both her dad and I wear glasses so it was probably inevitable for my daughter, but none of us expected to be adding eye wear to her fashion choices quite so early! She adapted like the trooper that little kids can be, and wears them everywhere. Then, this year, we've had to add a part-time eye patch to her ensemble, and it's causing some minor headaches. At 3 1/2 years old, she's a bit more vocal about what works and what doesn't.

In the end, telling her, "The Doctor says you have to!" is my common go-to answer. Not the best parenting moment, maybe. But finding a comfortable eye patch that she loves has also made a huge difference. Which is why we love Happy Patch Kids patches - she can pick a design she loves and wears it proudly. Between her favorite eye patches and a big dose of Pirate lore, we're doing A-OK! Now I'd love to add these pirate themed things to our growing collection to keep my little pirate inspired:

  1. Pirate Sue from Stuf
  2. Happy Patch Kids Eye Patches
  3. Charlotte Jane Battles Bedtime
  4. Pirate Blackboard Stickers
  5. Pirate and Treasure Puzzle
