"Heirloom" isn't just a clever name for this gorgeous line of children's furniture. Made with the same workmanship and attention to detail as quality furniture for grown-ups, these pieces are designed to be passed down from generation to generation. While the entire line is beautiful, we're particularly drawn to the chairs and two-seater sofas.

Designed by Catharina Engelholm, these pieces may have modern lines, but they are built using old-school techniques and materials. The cushioning is made from a combination of jute, horsehair, wadding, and cotton fabric. The upholstery is hard-wearing leather tanned using vegetable oil.

Shown here in eggshell white leather on an oak frame, the Ellinor rocker comes as a single or a two-seater. Ellinor's "twin brother" Theodor, shown here with birch frame and brown leather upholstery, is a standard armchair that's also available as a two-seater. Both Ellinor and Theodor are available in your choice of wood frame and upholstery.
