Last June we were lucky to meet and interview Dutch Designer Kiki van Eijk at Design Miami / Basel 2010. Her clever, innovative work was a favorite at the Fair. Kiki van Eijt's recent work was commissioned by Italian gallery Venice Projects and made using traditional Venetian glass techniques.
In designing the glass pieces for Venice Projects, Kiki van Eijk collaborated with her partner designer Joost van Bleiswijkwith. Wallpaper ran a recent story on "The making of Kiki van Eijk's 'Standing Mirror'" and included a slideshow of the process. You can see more of Kiki van Eijk's designs and her collaborations with Joost van Bleiswijkwith on her website.
