Have you started your backyard home theater project yet? No? Well, maybe you can make up for it by at least bringing some music to your upcoming party this weekend. Better yet, make a definitive "green" statement with this cute little solar and hand-powered radio box by Kikkerland. Quite surely, it'll gain some well-deserved attention on how thoughtful you've certainly become over the past few years...

While you can pretty much leave it out in the sun and let it charge up the juice while playing, your hand-cranking does a pretty good job too when Mr. Sun decides to get a little shy. According to the specs, one minute of cranking equates to about half and hour of radio play. Not too shabby considering you can just switch off with any house guests, stimulating a very much "green" sense of participation. Hey, we know you all love that wholesome feelin', who doesn't?

The KikkerlandIt tunes to AM and FM, but while it has a headphone jack for pool-side listening, there's no line in if you wanted to utilize an additional audio source for your music like your iPod. Fortunately, the price is reasonable enough that we might just grab one for our up and coming summer gathering. Grab it for $25.
