We've already taken a tour of the 1st floor and 3rd floor of the Kips Bay Home Show, named after the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club in Manhattan, and dedicated to raising money for New York City school enrichment programs. This year's show takes place at a townhouse in New York's Upper East Side, where a group of talented interior decorators have been invited to show off their unique style. Here's what they've done on the 2nd floor...
Today we are spotlighting the second floor, which offers great contrast in each room: a classic take on a living space, to dark and warm dining area, and a modern bold and bright sitting room.
1- 3: In the classic "Drawing Room" Gomez Associates created a stoic, yet comfortable room where guests at a party or simply a homeowner could enjoy the comfortable and beautiful décor.
4 - 6: In the dark and romantic "Dining Room," Kristen McGinnis Design Inc. mixed and matched warm and soothing deep hues with gold accents, including a chandelier that is a statement piece like no other.
7: In the room called "Veritas" Dineen Architecture + Design PC put together a bright and cheerful space that feels spacious despite the small size.
