Our new home office is housed in the kitchen--and we love it. We face the living room windows and front door (great feng shui). Not to mention the space feels cozy and in the center of it all. But one thing we really wanted to accomplish was
making the space feel less like an office by hiding most of our "command center" items behind closed doors. Squares of cork are perfect for hanging bills and important memos that need to be accessed easily. We love being able to hide away our home office at the drop of a hat which makes for effortless cleanup when entertaining or enjoying dinner at the bar. Other inspiring home command centers use flowers, artwork or other decorative containers that make their space warm and inviting.
