We recently found the work of Jared Flood on his blog, Brooklyn Tweed. His warm knits are made for the body and for the home and, according to his book, Made in Brooklyn, are very much rooted in a sense of place.

"Throughout the weeks and months spent conceiving of, knitting, writing and photographing these designs, I became increasingly indebted to Place as the primary informant of this work—the Places that inspired it, the Places that housed its growth, and perhaps most importantly, the Places through which the work will pass after leaving my hands.
