Kobo Aura HD

It's no secret, compared to even the best HD LCD tablet displays, e-ink technology is just easier on the eyes. The Kobo Aura HD ups the ante and brings readers an impressive micro-fine 1440 x 1080 pixels resolution (265 ppi, 1 pixel more than an iPad Retina Display), alongside something they call ComfortLight (consistent and even front lighting). Together with 10 font options at 24 sizes to choose from, my month's time with a review sample has been eye-opening experience, giving this current iPad reader food for thought about the long term effects of reading with a tablet compared to the gentler e-ink experience.
