What would a simple paper lantern cluster look like if the kitsch and glam factors was turned up to, say, eleven? Maybe something along the lines of this disco ball chandelier...

If we had room for a disco lounge in our house, this would go front and center. The Konfetti chandelier by Bsweden features disco balls of varying sizes with halogen lighting. It retails (in Sweden) for something like $5000, but we could see a cluster of these strung together as a cheap, easy DIY project, too.
