You may remember artist Krista Peel from her apartment featured on Small Space Big Style. In addition to her creative use of living and work space, we learned of Krista's miniature roomboxes, the latest of which has a distinct modernist bend. Currently, we toured The Traveler's Room:

Krista writes, "It's a handmade, modernist room, 20" x 12" x 12", with an altered ball chair, a garden glass sculpture, mini-models of the NY skyline, the London Eye, Big Ben, London Bridge, Salisbury Cathedral and the Rosetta Stone. The artwork includes a painting from a street vendor in Paris, a Roman stamp, an etching of Venice and a tile from Barcelona. A truly luxurious, bright and textured room. Welcome in!"

Her process is rich and full, and each handbuilt roombox is "an art gallery of collected works from around the world. Roomboxes can be purchased, and come with all the lights, accessories and hardware needed for their installation. the exterior can be painted any color for camouflage in the room in which it can hang."

What's not to love? Shown above, The Traveler's Roombox:
