Location: Kennebunkport, Maine
I am a stylist and designer who is based out of Kennebunkport, Maine. I am blessed to live in an amazing old Captains home that was built in the late 1890's. My space occupies the first floor and the energy alone from the light and location is so beautiful and palpable to all who enter.
The house has had many incarnations, businesses and renters, all leaving there positive loving mark on the original architecture. I have no doors or closets, leaving me with a lovely New England loft feel. I guess I would say my style and my business is very "story driven". I believe that your walls, clothing etc are always saying something about you, what you love, where you have been, what makes us laugh, cry etc. My home has lots of old finds, art, local and found, along with some new pieces thrown in for good measure. It is as ever evolving as my travels and experiences.

I like the space, especially the navy blue, but it does look a bit cluttered.
Regarding the shelving units: They are Ikea's Enetri shelves. They are FABULOUS - definitely the best think Ikea has ever produced.
Having seen this in person, I know for a fact it is truly an amazing space - way more than just the perfect color....even with the shelves now long gone!
I really like what you can see in the pictures, but unfortunately, it's not much. Would love to see some wide shots to get a sense of the full space...

I don't think it's cluttered; I like seeing everything displayed. Would love to see a wider shot of the rooms, as someone mentioned. And yes, the color is amazing! Not at all gloomy like I would have imagined such a dark color would appear. Love.
