Color Inspiration: We moved into our loft a little over a year ago. It was a blank slate at the time, and we've been working on making it our own ever since. One Sunday, on a whim, we decided to paint the wall (which was white at the time). I pointed at a teal candle and said "let's try that color!" Once the wall was painted, the rest of the space started to come together around it.

I love that the mix of traditional and MCM furniture in this room doesn't look professionally matched, I love that a room with a bold blue wall can still look warm and comfy, and I love that dog!

I really like the colors and the design. Looks very homey homies. Actually, I used to have the wired chairs like that... surprisingly they are very comfortable.

where did you get that black side table/desk in the first photo? the stool looks ikea, but i've been looking for a table like that for working for a long time!
The desk is the Pier 1 Project Desk. Not sure if they still sell it - I bought it a few years ago.
