Even though the price on this Eames Lounge Chair/Ottoman is pretty comparable to its current retail price, take note that this particular chair is OG. Made pre-1979, this set is black leather with original rosewood veneer. Both the leather and the veneer are in great condition--no rips, tears, repairs (only light scratching from general wear). Priced at $3600.

Why in the world would one want to pay a premium for a 30 year old chair, if that chair today is still mass-produced by the same factory that mass-produced it 30 years ago? It's not like Eames made it with his own hands. I don't see anything "collectible" about it (at this price). Ridiculous, IMO.
I'm with particlebored on this one.
