I owned a pair of identical chairs until earlier this year (left behind in a break-up). I had purchased them from a thrift in Chicago in 2000 for about $30 a piece. I loved them, they were so very comfortable. Mine had a label which indicated a manufacture date from 1974.
If you are interested in these chairs, they are Thonet.
