What inspired you to use color? The New Mexico light. I came out here for graduate school and after I received my MFA in Painting in 2000. I stayed and created. Painting my in in a whole new light

I guess I didn't see a rule that said it had to be the interior of your house. Although with creativity like that I definately want to see inside!
Thanks for sharing your colorful home!

The first picture is amazing, the other ones are a little bit too much for me.
But to echo Erin: where's the interior?

I'm assuming the interior is decorated with milk crates and cardboard boxes.

I love New Mexico and I love this house! It might not work in New York or Ohio or Missouri, but it fits NM perfectly! I would also love to see the inside--please do a house tour.

Is that color purple-blue kind of popular in the southwest? I just think it's kind of bold and out of place with the color palette I imagine for that area. I just looked at the Alejandra's baja entry as well, and don't really think of that color as being helpful. I guess it is outside my culture and I'm learning. I didn't even notice I wasn't looking at the inside the whole time. I guess murals and exterior features like fences and doorways are the color story here. Not sure why that wouldn't be ok.
