apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

A Little bit of Marrakesh in the Heart of LA

How heavenly to stay at the Figueroa Hotel downtown and be transported to a land far far away. Until we can actually make it down for drinks at the Moroccan themed boutique hotel, we're drooling over the pictures that Leah took and posted on more ways to waste time.

Hey Laure and everybody at AT:LA,

Thanks so much for the link!

I didn't actually take the photos, though -- they're just from the Figueroa's web site.

All the best,

Leah

This has always been one of my favorite hotels in LA! I used to daydream about planning an event like a wedding at this hotel.

This place is most assuredly haunted. I left after one sleepless night.

I love Moroccan interior design and home decorating. This hotel truly makes you feel that you are in Marrakesh.
