Funky Fresh: Eau de Swine

080907_bacon.jpg I was hunting around for air fresheners for my house and decided to take a break from "lilac with notes of gardenia and ylang ylang" or "the aroma of fresh baked poundcake with hints of orange zest,"and so I hopped online and found...Bacon Air Fresheners. What in the hell? And while I don't know many people who would willingly buy this for their home or their car, I do know someone who's getting this for his birthday (second one from the top).

PS. Are corndogs more aromatically enticing? There's also those available...

I've smelled the bacon air freshener! Sizzling bacon is such a homey and warm smell. I can't quite remember exactly what this piece of bacon-shaped cardboard smelled like but I do know that it didn't capture the essence of eau de ba'con.

It does just cry out to be a gag gift, doesn't it? Wrap it in bacon gift wrap for that Martha Stewart touch of thematic thoroughness.

Hahaha...I'll proudly hang that in my car, while enjoying my bacon caramel ice cream from Scoops!

A friend got me one of these as a gag (from our mutual love of bacon)... and it smells absolutely rancid! It honestly smells like rotted bacon rather than the real thing.

Much happier with my bacon bandaids!
