wondering if it's possible to place the zero water filter and holder on top of a wide mouth bottle and just do without the pitcher? or even over the pur pitcher? it sounds much cheaper than pur, which i have. i think i'll invest in one when i can.

A pitcher that tests how clean your water is before and after it has been filtered? Call me a skeptic, but I don't have any reason to believe the product's digital readings aren't going to be biased. After all, companies that make water filters could easily scare their customers into buying more by making them believe their tap water is filthy.
I'm not saying that this filter is innefective, I just think the digital reader could be a gimmick.
