AK-LH Flow Armchair Series

Blame it on our graphic design background, but we absolutely love these armchair designs by Parisian graphic design company, AK-LH. The 1950's Swedish armchairs are upholstered with Midcentury era style cartoon graphics that remind us a little of Mr. Slim Goodbody or something we'd spy on Grain Edit. One of seven designs with complimenting pillows (for those of you not into the anatomical, there are a few floral patterns), these might inspire other graphic design companies to follow suit and begin offering graphic emblazoned designs onto vintage pieces...

I like the shape of the chair well enough...
...but the imagery on the fabric is disturbing.

I rather like the anatomical one, but some are a little too creepy for my taste. it's nice to see furniture that doesn't take itself too seriously, though.

I love this. Then again, I tend to like things a little edgy.

I think they'd get old real fast. It's cute, but more for retail, not for home.

The dismemberment chair gives me the willies! :( I love the circulatory system one though, especially with the intestines/brains pillow...

Reminds me too much of work, not appealing.
